The release date on the cd itself says:1988. I also found so far two websites that also say it was released in 1988: [1] (http://rateyourmusic.com/view_album_details/album_id_is_11140) & [2] (http://www.lacoccinelle.net/traduction-chanson-5731-.html). I've had the cd since a few years after it first came out, and I always assumed the year printed on the cd was correct (1988). So, until proven to be released in "1989", I assume it is from 1988.
