Don Mischer

Don Mischer is an American television events producer. Mischer has produced television programs since 1976, when he produced a special for Barbra Streisand. Other programs have included Kennedy Center Honors, Emmy Awards, the opening ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics, and programs for Bob Hope, Nell Carter, Christopher Reeve, the Pointer Sisters and Mikhail Baryshnikov. He was also the executive producer of the Wayne Brady talk show.
In 2004 he produced the Democratic National Convention. He was caught on microphone yelling out a profanity during the end of CNN's coverage of the convention. After John Kerry's acceptance speech, there were supposed to be balloon and confettis on the ground of the convention. However, Mischer was not satisifed with the result of few balloons falling on the ground. He yelled at his workers which was aired accidentally by CNN.
"We need all of them coming down. Go balloons- balloons? What's happening balloons? There's not enough coming down! All balloons, what the hell! There's nothing falling! What the f--- are you guys doing up there? We want more balloons coming down, more balloons. More balloons. More balloons."
