- Why? Plurals are preferred, and even 'Category:Sport' is now 'Category:Sports'. Why singular if there's a perfectly valid plural available? Abigail 23:10, 3 Jun 2004 (UTC)
- Plurals don't quite work in all cases. Numbers implies we're talking about numbers only, and not topics that relate to numbers in general (such as absolute value, or something). Calling the cat "Number" would work. (Also, "Arithmetics" does not work in plural form! :) Dysprosia 06:24, 6 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Figured numbers?
The francophone wiki has a sub-category "nombre figuré" so the proposed translation as figured numbers including for example Triangular number. 209.90.162.83 01:30, 20 Dec 2004 (UTC)
