Battle of Ticonderoga

The Battle of Ticonderoga is the name of four battles that occured at Fort Ticonderoga.

• Battle of Ticonderoga (1758) -unsuccessful British attack on French during the French and Indian War
• Battle of Ticonderoga (1759) -successful British assault the following year.
• Battle of Ticonderoga (1775) -surprise attack by Americans on British in the American Revolutionary War
• Battle of Ticonderoga (1777) -Americans abandon fort after investment by British artillery
