Zeroption

Zeroption were an early 1980s Hardcore punk band, who have been cited as influences by many bands such Metallica, The White Stripes and Killdozer.
Zeroption were formed in 1981 in Oakville, a suburb in the Canadian city of Toronto, Ontario. The original lineup was Gord (bass), Kealan (drums) and Stuart (guitar).
From 1982 to 1984 they played live performances with many punk acts of the day, including Bad Brains, F.U.'s, DOA, Dead Kennedys, Social Distortion and The Circle Jerks. Influences heard in their music include Captain Beefheart, Pere Ubu, Public Image Ltd, UK Subs and Devo.
Zeroption disbanded in 1984.
