Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon
|
Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon is a video game developed by Animation Magic and released for the Philips CD-i in 1993. It is typically not considered part of The Legend of Zelda series because although licensed, it was not produced by Nintendo. Few copies of the title exist due to the console's commercial failure.
The gameplay is largely similar to Zelda II, but the player controls Princess Zelda rather than Link. The game featured sampled voice acting.
Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon was released along with Link: The Faces of Evil and later followed by Zelda's Adventure.
On a January 2005 episode of G4TechTV's FILTER, it was voted the worst game of all time. It was also on Filter's biggest failure list.
