Zachariah Selwyn

Zachariah Selwyn (born on April 23, 1975), known simply as Zach, finished 3rd on the first season of the ESPN reality television show Dream Job. Selwyn debuted on the show in its second episode on February 29, 2004. While he was reading a SportsCenter "Top Ten" highlights package during a "My SportsCenter", segment, it was easy to see that all eyes were on Selwyn's shaggy hair, beard, and 70s leisure suit. After his performance, ESPN Vice-President of Talent, Al Jaffe one of the show's judges, told him he wasn't credible because of his looks. Selwyn cleaned up his look (but not his act) in time for episode 3.
Selwyn made it all the way to the two-hour season finale on March 28, 2004, where he and Maggie Haskins were voted out in the first hour.
After Dream Job
Beginning on June 15, 2004, Selwyn debuted as a color commentator on the Game Show Network series Extreme Dodgeball. He also returned to ESPN, guest-hosting Around the Horn a week before Extreme Dodgeball debuted.
Selwyn's Other Talents
In addition to his sportscasting, Selwyn also has a band called Zachariah and the Lobos Riders. Selwyn has written (and sung) jingles for commercials for the popular beer from the Coors Brewing Company, which is something he continues to do. He's done some acting as well, making numerous guest appearance on the old CBS medical drama Chicago Hope.
