Zabol

Zabol (زابل) is a city in the province Sistan and Baluchistan, in Iran, on the border with both Afghanistan and Pakistan. Zabol is located near the Hamoon Lake and its area is irrigated by the Hirmand River. People of Zabol are Persian-speaking Shi'ites.
Zabol area is famous for its "Wind of 120 days" (bad-e sad-o-bist-roz), a highly persistent dust storm in the summer which blows from north to south. In Zabol is situated the Zabol University and the Zabol Airport.
