York Centre

York Centre is a federal riding of Canada, a provincial riding of the province of Ontario and two municipal wards of the city of Toronto. It has a population of 113,195 people (2001 census).

Before 1999, the name York Centre was assigned to a completely different riding located in York Region north of Toronto with none of the same territory as the current York Centre. The MPPs for that riding were:

In 1999 much of the old York Centre was absorbed by the new riding of Vaughan—King—Aurora.
City Councillors
The current Ward 10 Toronto city councillor and deputy mayor is Mike Feldman.
