Xiu Xiu

Xiu Xiu is an indie/experimental band originally from San Jose, California and now based in Seattle, Washington. Xiu Xiu is the project of singer/songwriter Jamie Stewart and currently also consists of Caralee McElroy and Cory McCulloch. Past members include Yvonne Chen, Lauren Andrews, and many other guests. The band's name is taken from the 1998 Chinese film, Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl. Prior to Xiu Xiu, Stewart played in the bands Ten in the Swear Jar and Ibopa.
