William Talbot, 1st Earl Talbot

William Talbot, 1st Earl Talbot (16 May 1710–27 April 1782) was an English nobleman.
Talbot earned the title of Baron Talbot of Hensol at his father's death in 1737. He was Lord High Steward at King George III's coronation, and became a member of the Privy Council in 1761. Earls in the Peerage of England. He served from then until his death as Lord Steward of the Household. At his death, the earldom became extinct, while the barony passed normally.
