Whitefield CDP is a census-designated place (CDP) within the town of Whitefield in Coos County, New Hampshire. The U.S. Census uses the CDP in order to provide separate demographic details describing the central settlement of the town. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 1,089.

Geography
The Census Bureau defines the CDP as a total area of 3.3 km² (1.3 mi²), none of which is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there are 1,089 people, 433 households, and 272 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 325.9/km² (845.9/mi²). There are 525 housing units at an average density of 157.1 persons/km² (407.8 persons/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.26% White, 0.37% African American, 0.18% Native American, 0.09% Asian, and 1.10% from two or more races. 0.64% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 433 households out of which 32.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.3% are married couples living together, 10.2% have a woman whose husband does not live with her, and 37.0% are non-families. 31.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 17.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.36 and the average family size is 2.95.
In the CDP the population is spread out with 24.2% under the age of 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 26.1% from 25 to 44, 19.5% from 45 to 64, and 21.5% who are 65 years of age or older.
