Called "104.7 the Fish", WFSH-FM is an FM radio station in Atlanta, Georgia (see a complete list of Georgia stations) broadcasting at 104.7MHz. The station format is called "Safe For The Whole Family", a hybrid of Christian pop and clean music with a mainstream feel. Between early November and Christmas day, the station plays all Christmas music.
Prior to its current designation, the frequency was occupied by Cox Radio's WALR-FM, the R&B format "Kiss 104.7" from the mid-1990s until 2000. In late 2000, Kiss merged with and moved to 104.1 as "Kiss 104", to make room for Christian "104.7 the Fish". This was an asset exchange between Cox and Salem Communications, which now owns and operates WFSH-FM.
WFSH-FM transmits from the tallest radio tower in Georgia (2000 feet or 600m) in Loganville, 30 miles or 48km east of Atlanta.
Salem also operates AM stations WNIV, WGKA, WLTA, and WAFS in Atlanta. Its sister station is KFSH-FM in Los Angeles.
