- If you saw my edits to vandalism in progress, my apologies... I had a brain fart inserting the section header Gwimpey 21:09, 5 May 2004 (UTC)

The 216.239.89.* vandal (Frederick Lowy) has also targeted Concordia University, perhaps you could consider adding that page to your watchlist? (Not to mention Paul Newman and Holocaust, but I think lots of people already watch those pages). P.T. Aufrette 18:12, 6 May 2004 (UTC)
Would you be interested in contributing to my geology WIP User:Thparkth/Geology? The current geology page is IMHO very dry, and while it gives a good history of the science of the geology, it leaves the reader with no real impression of what geology actually is or does. I would like to address that with a gentle "educated layman" introduction to the Earth, geological time, basic landform stuff, and lots of links to other articles. Thparkth 10:29, 19 May 2004 (UTC)

Moving pages
Greetings Gwimpey,
I noticed that you moved the contents of Tejas to Hasinai. When you cut and paste the content, the edit history remains at the old location. Generally, it is desirable to maintain a continuous edit history. The recommended method for doing this is to use the "Move this page" link located on the left side (at least in the default skin). This will move the entire page, including the edit history and the corresponding talk page (if it exists) to the new location. Happy editing. older≠wiser 03:36, 20 May 2004 (UTC)
- Thanks for the tip! Gwimpey 03:41, 20 May 2004 (UTC)
Transistor
Looks like transistor has a big chunk of repeated text. Are you working on fixing it up? I don't want to wade in while you're at work :) Gwimpey 00:49, 5 Jun 2004 (UTC)
- Oops. What did I do? I will go check...
- I don't see that I added the extra chunk. Go ahead and fix it; I'm not editing. I don't even see the chunk...
- Oh, I see. The whole article was doubled by Heron. - Omegatron 01:58, Jun 5, 2004 (UTC)
Language cleanup
I have been trying to clean up articles that appear to have been written by non-native English speakers as I come across them. So far, I've tackled German grammar and Expulsion of Germans after World War II. Gwimpey 05:56, 9 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Priory of Sion
Thank you for formatting this article and the work you did on it's related entries. It all looks great! Loremaster 19:48, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Minor edits
Your two most recent edits at transhumanism were marked as minor, even though they were not. Please look over Wikipedia:Minor edit... thanks! :) - Korpios 13:25, 14 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Category:Printing
In my efforts to add flexography to Category:Printing]seem to have failed terribly - while I seem to have left no edit history, the majority of the Printing page is now empty. Since you are responsible for the last several edits for that page, I wanted to ask whether you had any ideas for getting the content back.
Thanks --Alex 16:10, 2004 Jul 28 (UTC)
EasyTimeline
Hi, I haven't forgotten it. Several people looked at it. Script was missing from the server. Also access rights were wrong, script could not run. Then Apaches were out of sync on this module. So three steps forward but there is still a missing piece. Now that I have server access I can do some more digging, but I'll have to be slow and careful as I don't know Wikimedia internals well enough yet. Erik Zachte 04:07, 3 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- EasyTimeline is back now. Cheers, Erik Zachte 16:47, 6 Aug 2004 (UTC)
The crypology box seems like a good idea - are there any reasons not to implement it? Otherwise, I would say, go for it. It seems like a perfectly useful idea to me. --Vishahu 01:39, Oct 14, 2004 (UTC)
Alberto Gonzales
Thanks; I really enjoy jumping on developing news stories as multiple Wikipedians converge, it's amazing to see what happens in such a short space of time. It was very peculiar, though, that I'd just created that page less than a week before. :) -- Seth Ilys 21:04, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Article Licensing
Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 1000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:
- Multi-Licensing FAQ - Lots of questions answered
- Multi-Licensing Guide
- Free the Rambot Articles Project
To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:
- Option 1
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
OR
- Option 2
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=User_talk:Ram-Man&action=edit§ion=new)| talk)
Sterculiaceae
Noticed you shifted Theobroma from Sterculiaceae to Malvaceae - do you have a source for this change? Thanks. Guettarda 23:45, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info. I will look more into the APG info (when I have the time). Guettarda 13:14, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)
