That's me a few months ago, staring out into nothing

Unfortunately, I've been placed on parentally-enforced Wiki-vacation for an indeterminate period of time. I will make edits as I can, but I'll basically be MIA until further notice. Hope to be back soon...

About Me

I'm Premeditated Chaos, or PMC. (PMC in #wikipedia) I live in Vancouver, Canada. It's a pretty decent place to live, if you can ignore all the rain. I'm sixteen, and I like to think I act more mature than that. I'm a movie freak, especially bad B-movies. I'm also a bit of a music nut. I'm into psychology and criminology, but only in the amateur sense. I have recently become part of the cabal (There Is No Cabal!), with a count of 22 votes for and 1 against. (Seth tells me I'm silly, and cute, but I'm not sure I agree =P)

I'm a left-of-centre thinker, liberal on most things. I'm agnostic but I do believe in fate, or possibly karma. I am an extreme skeptic, rarely taking any extraordinary claim at face value unless there's sufficient evidence for it. I respect everyone's right to an opinion unless they're exercising it to hurt innocent people. I try to stay away from editing anything I feel strongly about, except to revert ugly POV pushing. It just makes life less stressful that way, for everyone.

Despite all the Devil's Advocacy I do on Talk:Zoophilia, I'm not a zoo. I don't agree with it, and I think it's animal abuse. But dammit, I will fight tooth and nail to make that article NPOV, whether I believe in it or not. Remember Voltaire - "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." Every article on this Wikipedia should present both sides of any argument equally, so that people have the choice to decide for themselves. Such is my belief, and anyone who accuses me of such - check your facts before you throw mud!

I stole my button bar from Andrevan who stole it from someone else. I made it pink because I have an unfortunate love for things that are a horrible lurid neon pink. Hence my signature.

Stats

My current stats: As of January 15, 2005, I have made 592 major edits. With minor edits, my count is 2001. I have started 22 new articles, and rewritten 16. As of November 8 I am #913 on the top 1000 editors by number of edits. I started editing on November 23, 2003. I lean towards deletionism. I pipe redirects. I merge articles.

I made my 2000th edit on January 15, 2005, at Osama (film), which I wrote.

Current Wikipedia stats: it's 05:54 on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, and we've got a total of 809 articles in the English Wikipedia.

Projects

  • Merging fancruft and minor articles into larger ones. (Such as merging "Morticia Addams" into The Addams Family)
  • Copyediting useful articles that are badly written.
  • Helping to clear out Wikipedia:Deadend_pages and Wikipedia:Orphaned_pages by either copyediting or getting them deleted.
  • Clearing out redirects from articles by making piped links.
  • Helping with the WikiSyntax project.
  • Putting an image on every page on my watchlist

Cool people

Apparently everyone's doing this fancy multi-licensing thing now, so: I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of talk and user pages, as described below: Template:DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
