Template:Babel-4 Hello, I am Gabriel Ehrnst Grundin (born October 13, 1983).

Most percieve me as a introverted, erudite, dour martinet. My interests include languages, Europe, history, etc.

I am a former student of Enskilda Gymnasiet, where I graduated in 2002. After my 450-day tour of duty at S1, I began I began my studies in Engineering Physics (Teknisk Fysik) at the RIT (KTH) in the fall of 2004.

Heroes of mine include Richard Francis Burton (18211890), Ernst Jünger (18951998), Jonas Salk (19141995), Orson Welles (19151985).

My activites here on Wikipedia mainly focuses on pure "gardening", fixing spelling errors, removing dupes, fixing links, adding metric figures when only imperial units are given, copyediting, etc. But I also like to help people get rid of their prejudices on various topics around the non-Western world, as well as those about lesser known parts of the Western world. Except for that, my interests vary from tall buildings, sights in London, airports & air crashes, bridges, etc.

Playing with LaTeX:

Implicit differentiation

We have <math> xy = 1 <math>, what is <math> y'(x) <math> ?

<math> \frac{d}{dx} (xy) = \frac{d}{dx} 1 <math>

<math> x \frac{dy}{dx} + y \frac{dx}{dx} = 0 <math>

<math> \frac{dy}{dx} = \frac{-y}{x} <math>

Integration by substitution

<math> \int_a^b f(g(x)) g'(x) dx = \int_{g(a)}^{g(b)} f(u) du <math>

or, with <math> u = g(x) <math> from the start,

<math> \int_a^b f(u) \frac{du}{dx} dx = \int_{g(a)}^{g(b)} f(u) du <math>

Integration by parts

<math> d(uv) = u dv + v du <math>

<math> \int d(uv) = uv = \int u dv + \int v du <math>

<math> \int u dv = uv - \int v du <math>
