Intro
My screen name, crazyeddie, comes from a alien culture hero from the science fiction novel The Mote in God's Eye by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle. My real name is Dan Marshall. By day, I'm the owner and sole employee of Freelance Computer Repair, a small computer shop which sometimes manages to meet its own expenses (which means I'm working for free). By night I work as a janitor at a local factory. I also moderate at the LQwiki (http://wiki.linuxquestions.org).
Wikipedia Stuff
I've been a wikipedian since at least the Sarah Lane monkey pox incident, although it may have been longer - I may have been introduced to the wikipedia from the New York Times. I finally got a log in, and then got busy with other things and couldn't contribute as much any more - typical.
Most of my wiki time is taken up with my mod duties at the LQwiki (http://wiki.linuxquestions.org). I tend to use the Wikipedia as a "leadership academy", so I can usually be found at the Village Pump while I'm here.
Somewhere in all of this, I largely created the Fourth Great Awakening article and the current incarnation of the Great Awakening article. I moved the original article to First Great Awakening, but I used copy-and-paste, so the history didn't make the trip. Oops! I also did about 1/3 of the Third Great Awakening article.
