Crist poem

Aiya Eärendil eldaron ancálima
or Endor nerin hortane,
ar vorima,
anaro are tinda or tinwi elye ilkwa i lúme,
terelda voro faynale!
- Anyway my translation of the posted poem is:
Hail Eärendil, brightest of stars,
Sent unto men above Middle-earth,
and true radiance of the sun,
far above the stars, you for ever
illumine everything, of your own!
Éala Éarendel / Engla Beorhtast
Ofer Middangeard / Monnum sended,
Ond sóðfæsta / Sunnan léoma,
Torht ofer tunglas / þú tida gehwanes
Of sylfum / þé symle inlíhtes.
And playing around with the English translation a bit to find a rhyme meter and some alliteration, this is what I came up with:
Aiya Eärendil, elen ancalima
Hortanë hildin, or Endor.
Ar vórim' alcar Arano,
Ilya loa, calim' or eldi,
Ar lelyéo, oialë acalyalyë
Hail Eärendil, star most bright
Sent for Mortals, over the Earth.
And steadfast radiance of the Sun,
Every season bright over stars
And of thyself, thou shine most forever
