I began contributing on February 20, 2004 as a result of repeated linking and the addition of a wikipedia search in my installation of Mozilla FireFox. I'm currently at 655 edits, and still going strong. I spend a fair amount of time each day making sure that the pages I've contributed to are still up to snuff.
I am currently a student at the University of Arizona studying aerospace engineering. I graduated last December with a degree in psychology, but have real interest in working in engineering.
Tucson is hot in the summer, mild in the winter, dusty year-round, and smells like a sewer at night. The Roger Road Sewage Treatment Plant is over 3 miles away (5 if you drive it), but at night the whole city stinks.
I hail originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I lived there 18 years and get back whenever I can. That's partially due to the passion that New Mexicans have for our green chile. It's the state pasttime to get together at a great New Mexican restaurant and have good New Mexican food. You'd think I'd be able to find the same style of Mexican food here in Tucson, but I've never found it in 5 years of searching. The closest I can come is Macayo's - and that's still a stretch. Viva Burrito and Los Betos are pretty good for burritos (I eat there about once a week) but still can't fill that void of New Mexican food.
Anyway, I may contribute in a lot of different ways - I have a way of both wasting time and knowing a lot about a few things, a little about a lot of things, and nothing about almost nothing. Ok, well almost anyway.
