here's some examples in your sandbox to help you. have fun!
You can play with the sandbox as much as you like.
I'll add this one for you:
Um, is your monitor set up correctly? Are your eyes ok? I see that as reddish magenta. :-/
Heh, it's crimson , of course :-)
And how about 0 255 128?? 66.32.146.89 22:39, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Well, the hex triplet would be 00FF80. Can you figure out what to do next? Wow, you got an entire night, and you didn't even TRY to edit this page. I truely hate helping people who have their brains turned off. Even a zen slap (http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?ZenSlap) won't wake them up sometimes. :-/
Alright well, first up
in hex:
- 0 = 00
- 128 = 80
- 255 = FF
Those are used most often, so we can do really fast mental arithmatic, by just doing search and replace even ;-) so we have (0 , 255, 128) ah ok , so : ( 0 =00 , 255 =FF, 128 =80) => (0, FF, 80). To make a hex triplet, you just run the stuff together:
- 00FF80
now if you hit "edit this page" you'll see the source for the following color-bar
Do you see the bit where it says background-color: Right! that's where you insert the hex code you need.
Okay, let's do that. You say that's spring green? Hmm, whatever. In any case it's a tertiary color.
How do I know? Well, you used a 128 in it :-)
- one 255 and two 0s : primary color
- two 255s and a 0 : secondary color
- a 128 in there : tertiary color
To get you into thinking mode(hopefully) , I will only answer 3 more questions from you. Whatever the question, I'll answer it to the best of my abilities, but 3 questions only. Choose wisely! :)
That, and have a nice day!
