Upminster Windmill

Upminster windmill is a smock mill dating from 1803 located in Upminster.

The original machinery, last used in 1934, is intact but not working. There are plans to return the mill to working order.

The mill is open to visitors one weekend each month between April and September.

Views from the top of the windmill include Canary Wharf and the transmitter at Crystal Palace.

The nearest tube stations are Upminster Bridge tube station and Upminster station.
