The United Hockey League (UHL) is a professional low level minor league in ice hockey in the United States. It was established in 1991 as the Colonial Hockey League with franchises in Thunder Bay, Detroit, Flint, Brantford and St. Thomas, and renamed the United Hockey League in 1997. Currently, the league has 14 teams, but that number has ranged from 5 to 15 teams. In the past, the league included teams in Canada but it currently has no Canadian team.
Two UHL teams are affiliated with National Hockey League teams and five more are affiliated with American Hockey League teams.

Colonial Cup Winners

The Colonial Cup is awarded to the team which wins United Hockey League playoffs. The name "Colonial Cup" has been maintained since the league was called Colonial Hockey League. The past winners are:
