The under-19 cricket World Cup 2004 was held between February 15 and March 5 2004 in Bangladesh and was won by Pakistan. (See also: 2004 in sports)
Opening ceremony
Traditional dances, colourful calisthenics and spectacular fireworks lit up the opening ceremony of the under-19 cricket World Cup at Dhaka. Sixteen countries, including the 10 test-playing nations and six associate members of the International Cricket Council are participating in the tournament.
