USS Minneapolis

Two ships of the United States Navy have been named USS Minneapolis, after the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- The first Minneapolis (C-13) was a cruiser in service from 1894 to 1921.
- The second Minneapolis (CA-36) was a heavy cruiser commissioned in 1934, in heavy action throughout the Pacific War, and decommissioned in 1947.
Additionally, one ship of the US Navy has been named for both of the Twin Cities together:
- USS Minneapolis-St. Paul (SSN-708), the twentieth Los Angeles class submarine.
