Within the small town of Tyrone there are 3 public schools, Burch Elementary, Flat Rock Middle, and Sandy Creek High School. All of these located in a triangle configuration on the same street. Sandy Creek's football program is among the best in the state and the Sandy Creek HS Marching Patriot Band is among the best in the county.
