Tower Lakes is a village located in Lake County, Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 1,310.
Geography
Tower Lakes is located at 42°13'60" North, 88°9'8" West (42.233223, -88.152271)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.8 km² (1.1 mi²). 2.5 km² (0.9 mi²) of it is land and 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 11.22% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 1,310 people, 449 households, and 390 families residing in the village. The population density is 532.4/km² (1,383.2/mi²). There are 458 housing units at an average density of 186.1/km² (483.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 97.56% White, 0.31% African American, 0.08% Native American, 0.76% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.31% from other races, and 0.99% from two or more races. 1.37% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
