Totomi (遠江国; Tōtōmi-no kuni) is an old province in the area of Japan that is today western Shizuoka prefecture.
Totomi's ancient castle town was near modern Iwata, Shizuoka, but by the Sengoku period the chief castle town was at Hamamatsu. Totomi was controlled by the Imagawa clan, and later came under the control of Tokugawa Ieyasu, who ruled it until he took over the Kanto region.
