To Hell with the Devil is the 3rd album by the Christian metal band Stryper. It was released on October 24, 1986. This album was one of the first Christian Rock albums to go platinum and receive crossover exposure in the secular media.
The original cover of this album caused a lot of controversy and was changed to an all-black design. The original artwork consisted of four angels who resembled the band ripping a pentagram necklace off of Satan's neck.
The album contained the songs Abyss (To Hell With The Devil), To Hell With The Devil, Calling On You, Free, Honestly, The Way, Sing-Along Song, Holdin' On, Rocking The World, All Of Me, and More Than A Man,
There were two singles from the album: Free / Calling On You was released on February 10, 1987, and Honestly / Sing-Along Song on August 10 that same year. The music videos for Calling on You and Honestly received regular airplay and were on the nightly MTV list of most requested videos throughout much of 1987.
