Timothy Findley Award
|
The Timothy Findley Award is presented each year by the Writers' Trust of Canada in memory of the Canadian writer Timothy Findley. The award goes to a male Canadian novelist who is in the middle of his career. It is awarded for the entire body of the recipient's work.
The award was presented for the first time in 2003, although its first winner was deemed to have won for 2002. It is a companion to the Marian Engel Award, which was created in 1986 to honour female writers.
