Timothy Paul Loughton (born 30 May 1962, in Eastbourne Sussex) is a Conservative member of Parliament in the United Kingdom. He represents Worthing East and Shoreham (the area represented comprises the Adur District and the four eastern wards of Worthing [ Broadwater, Gaisford, Offington, and Selden ]), and has been an MP since 1997.
His subjects at university were Classical Civilisation and Mesopotamian Archaeology and so it was inevitable that he would take up a career in Investment Banking before becoming an MP.
He is married with three children.
