Till Death Us Do Part is an album by Cypress Hill released on March 23, 2004.
Making of Til Death Us Do Part
The album saw the band experiment with reggae especially on the lead single "What's Your Number". The track features Tim Armstrong of Rancid on bass and Rob Ashton of The Transplants on backup vocals and is based on the classic song "Guns of Brixton" by The Clash from the London Calling album and has proved to be a success on the modern rock charts. The album also features appearances by Damian Marley, son of Bob Marley, Prodigy and Twin of Mobb Deep, Tego Calderon, a Puerto Rican reggaeton artist and producer the Alchemist.
Cypress Hill member Muggs says on the band's website that Cypress Hill is keen to keep experimenting with their sound. "It's maturity and growth. We didn't want to tread the same water or make the same record. Cypress Hill has always been known as trend-setters and I just think it was time for the band to try something different. To create our own world within a world again. We don't jump on any bandwagons. We don't just make hit records. We make classic records that stand the test of time."
