The Terminator series is a series of three science fiction action movies concerning battles between artificially intelligent robots and human beings.
The movies are, in chronological order:

- starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and Michael Biehn
- Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
- directed by James Cameron
- starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and Robert Patrick
- Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003)
- directed by Jonathan Mostow
- starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nick Stahl, Claire Danes, Kristanna Loken, and David Andrews
There are also strong rumours of a 4th film (which takes place during the future war) being in development.
