The Plimsouls

The Plimsouls is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California by songwriter Peter Case in 1978.
The band released one ep, Zero Hour in 1980, and a full length album in 1981, "A Million Miles Away". The title track from that album ended up on the Valley Girl motion picture soundtrack and became a minor hit for the band.
The band released Everywhere At Once in 1983 and broke up shortly after. Case continued with a solo career and pursuing his interests in music history. In 1996, The Plimsouls reunited for a few shows and some recording sessions, but nothing else became of it.
