In 1963 the United Kingdom thriller author Gavyn Lyall wrote a novel called The Most Dangerous Game. A British pilot flies a hunter into a prohibited part of Finland in order to hunt bear and becomes mixed up in a spy adventure. Thus the plot was radically different from the more famous The Most Dangerous Game novel about hunting humans.
