Terry Wayne Adams (born March 6, 1973 in Mobile, Alabama) is a Major League Baseball middle relief pitcher who plays with the Philadelphia Phillies (2005). Previously, Adams played for the Chicago Cubs (1995-99), Los Angeles Dodgers (2000-01), Philadelphia Phillies (2002-03), Toronto Blue Jays (2004) and Boston Red Sox (2004). He bats and throws right-handed.
In a ten-year career, Adams has compiled a 51-62 record with 687 strikeouts, a 4.14 ERA, and 42 saves in 856 innings.
High School Career
At Mary G.Montgomery High School in Semmes,Alabama,Terry Adams was a two-sport standout in both baseball,and football.As a senior,in baseball,he was the Alabama High School Player of the Year,after going 12-2 with a 1.17 E.R.A.
