I am sure this will be edited greatly. What is needed is someone to flesh out the golden mean in archetecture and art in this piece.

Also I linked to aestheticism and that is not what the basic idea of aestheiticism is. It goes deeper. The Greeks had aestheticism, which is "Devotion to the Beautiful". The site of aestheticism needs work or a disambiguation page.WHEELER 19:20, 8 Apr 2004 (UTC)

This is the Philosophical understanding of the Greek mean. I reversed the edits of the guy because the first part is the research I done by reading the Dictionary of the Arts, a 32 volume reference collection.
