Pretty sure that the diameters for a proton and atomic nucleus are up to an order of magnitude too big here, i.e proton >~ 1fm but < 10fm and atomic nucleus diameter << 100fm. Going by the standard empirical formula listed in http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/nuclear/nucuni.html#c4, even a uranium nucleus is only 7.8fm! I don't usually like to change these things but I will here.
If it's to be moved to Femtometre, the redirect there should be deleted first, then the page moved. --User:Docu
- Since meter is at metre, for consistency's sake all the others should be so spelled. Rmhermen 19:18, Dec 8, 2003 (UTC)
- Let's move it there! I already listed the redirect at Wikipedia:Redirects for deletion -- User:Docu
- Fine. I was only doing this because I can't do deletes and BOTH pages have a significant edit history, which IS KEPT by doing the cut and paste. Doing the delete and move only keeps one lot of history. -- So, when does it get deleted so the move can happen? -- SGBailey 2003-12-09
