T&T Supermarket is a growing Chinese Canadian supermarket chain operating in Canada. It is a joint venture with the successful Chinese American chain 99 Ranch Market.
It began operations in 1993 at Metrotown Centre and expanded into Alberta (1999 and 2002) and Ontario (2002, 2004).
The name of the chain is a combination of Tawa Supermarket Inc-99 Ranch Market (http://www.99ranch.com/) of California and Tung Yee (Uni-President Enterprises Corp) (http://www.uni-president.com/default_800.htm) of Taiwan.
Overseas operations are run by Cindy Lee, President of overseas operations and employ 1,800.
