Sunol-Midtown is a census-designated place and primarialy residential area located in Santa Clara County, California. Portions of the area have been annexed to San Jose, while others remain unincorporated pockets of Santa Clara County. As of the 2000 census, the unincorporated area had a total population of 748.

There are 256 housing units at an average density of 1,098.2/km² (2,998.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 49.73% White, 1.47% African American, 1.34% Native American, 3.34% Asian, 0.13% Pacific Islander, 38.10% from other races, and 5.88% from two or more races. 64.30% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 243 households out of which 32.9% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 35.8% are married couples living together, 14.4% have a female householder with no husband present, and 41.2% are non-families. 29.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 6.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.07 and the average family size is 3.76.
