Standesamt Wongrowitz

Standesamt Wongrowitz was a civil registration district (Standesamt) located in Kreis Wongrowitz, province of Posen of the German Empire (1871-1918) and administered the communities of:

The Wongrowitz Standesamt district abounded with lakes and forest. It's history is heavily linked to the Catholic Cistercian order, which has roots in the area back to 1142.
