Sonya Thomas

Sonya Thomas, a Korean-American of Alexandria, Virginia, is a female competitive eater. She is possibly one of the best eaters in the world.
Her most famous record to date is 32 hot dogs in 12 minutes on July 4, 2004 at Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. Although two Japanese contestants have eaten 53.5 and 38 hot dogs respectively, she has eaten more hot dogs than any other U.S. citizen in the history of the contest. She is known as "The Black Widow."
