According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.1 km² (0.4 mi²). 1.1 km² (0.4 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 648 people, 225 households, and 166 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 610.2/km² (1,567.8/mi²). There are 245 housing units at an average density of 230.7/km² (592.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 55.71% White, 0.77% African American, 4.48% Native American, 0.62% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 35.49% from other races, and 2.93% from two or more races. 79.32% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 225 households out of which 29.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.2% are married couples living together, 19.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 25.8% are non-families. 20.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 8.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.70 and the average family size is 3.10.
In the CDP the population is spread out with 29.0% under the age of 18, 9.4% from 18 to 24, 23.1% from 25 to 44, 21.9% from 45 to 64, and 16.5% who are 65 years of age or older.
