Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie is the name of a borough of Montreal, Quebec, and a coterminous federal electoral district. Its population is 103,458. (2001)
Geography
The district includes the neighbourhood of Petite-Patrie and the western part of the neighbourhood of Rosemont in the City of Montreal.
History
The electoral district of Rosemont was created in 1976 from Maisonneuve—Rosemont, Papineau and Saint-Michel. The name was changed to Rosemont—Petite-Patrie in 2000 and then to its current name in 2003.
