In J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth, the river Rivil was a river of Beleriand.
It began in Dorthonion, and then flowed north-west until it met with Sirion in the Fens of Serech.
Rivil's Well was where the Orcs which had killed Barahir and company camped, and Beren Erchamion attacked them there, taking back the Ring of Barahir before escaping again.
