River Ingrebourne
|
The River Ingrebourne is a tributary of the Thames which passes roughly north east to south west through the London Borough of Havering in East London.
It cuts through Upminster Golf Course, then under Upminster Bridge to run next to Hornchurch Stadium and through Gaynes Parkway and the Ingrebourne Valley Greenway, alongside Hornchurch Country Park through Rainham into Rainham Creek and finally into the Thames at Old Man's Head.
Much of the rivers route is classed as a London site of metropolitan importance because of the wildlife found there.
