Ritz Crackers are a type of cracker produced by Nabisco. They are circular in shape, salted, and have small scalloping around the edge.
Production of Ritz Crackers began in 1935, the year in which, according to official numbers provided by the company, there were approximately 40 crackers for each American person. Ritz Crackers also became a hit in Europe. It is said that many men would take chocolate-box shaped boxes of Ritz Crackers to propose to their girlfriends. In addition, passengers could buy Ritz Crackers for 19 cents at the Queen Mary ocean liner. Since the 1970s, this product can also be bought in vircular biscuit tins.
Ritz Crackers are also available in small size. They sell at supermarkets in many countries. Also, they are available at the famous Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York City.
