In J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth, Rķan was the daughter of Belegund of the House of Bėor.
Rķan was born around 450 of the First Age. She was only a young child during the Dagor Bragollach in 455, when Belegund became a companion of Barahir. Then, she was led to safety with the other women and children with Emeldir. Rķan's father died in 461.
Around 470, when Rķan was 20, she wedded Huor of the House of Marach, whose brother Hśrin was married to Rķan's cousin Morwen.
In 471 Huor was slain in combat in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad. Soon after that, Rķan gave birth to a son, Tuor.
Rķan died around 473. She was only 23.
