Pulaski is a village located in Oswego County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 2,398.
The Village of Pulaski is within the Town of Richland. The village is located on US Route 11 and is adjacent to Interstate 81. Pulaski was incorporated in 1833.

Geography
Pulaski is located at 43°33'54" North, 76°7'30" West (43.565108, -76.125003)Template:GR. It is on the Salmon River.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 8.9 km² (3.4 mi²). 8.5 km² (3.3 mi²) of it is land and 0.4 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 4.08% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 2,398 people, 1,034 households, and 585 families residing in the village. The population density is 281.4/km² (729.4/mi²). There are 1,155 housing units at an average density of 135.5/km² (351.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 98.21% White, 0.17% African American, 0.46% Native American, 0.42% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.75% from two or more races. 0.75% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 1,034 households out of which 29.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 40.1% are married couples living together, 12.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 43.4% are non-families. 37.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 20.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.30 and the average family size is 3.05.
In the village the population is spread out with 25.3% under the age of 18, 8.0% from 18 to 24, 27.1% from 25 to 44, 21.4% from 45 to 64, and 18.1% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 38 years. For every 100 females there are 87.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 81.5 males.
The median income for a household in the village is $28,977, and the median income for a family is $40,089. Males have a median income of $34,850 versus $23,913 for females. The per capita income for the village is $16,458. 15.6% of the population and 12.1% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total population, 19.8% of those under the age of 18 and 18.7% of those 65 and older are living below the poverty line.
Commerce
Commerce in Pulaski revolves heavily around fishing tourism - located on one of the 3 Salmon Rivers off the east end of Lake Ontario, (which is named for the salmon which, each fall, return to the river during the salmon run) is a major draw for sportfishing, as is Lake Ontario, the shore of which is a few miles distant.
