- Marshal of the RAF Charles Portal, 1st Viscount Portal of Hungerford was British Chief of the Air Staff in the Second World War.
- A metafictional device, such as a door or doorway, that transports the user from one place to another, distant, place via teleportation or similar means. Such portals are often found in linking rooms.
