|
The People's Weekly World (PWW) is the newspaper of the Communist Party USA, and is the direct descendant of the Daily Worker.
Originally a daily called the People's World the paper was forced to scale back production and become a weekly in the late 1980s when it lost a mass subscription order from the Soviet Union due to the paper's criticism of Mikhael Gorbachev and perestroika. The paper is funded by its subscribers and supporters.
